Bobby Pins and Padlocks

The bobby pin packaging pictured in my last post is boring, generic, and inappropriate. To illustrate my point; imagine if the bobby pins were removed and a padlock put in their place. The packaging still works, right? (actually it would probably work better for a padlock). Therein lies the problem, if I can remove the product and replace it with something entirely different, and not change a thing, somethings wrong. It's odd, you never really think about how everything comes packaged, even bobby pins...
