More on the Gourmet food industry

My target market for home made melting moments is:

primary market: local fine food lover/tourist to the byron area

secondary market: exports for food & bevarage tourism, such as hampers based on specific location produce, both interstate and international.

audience: majority woman, tourists to this area, mid to high income bracket, health conscious people, people intersted in culture , food and travel, sweets lovers. Age range: between 30-65 i'd say........as yo yo's are a traditional recipe the oldies will probably like them too!

advertising: gourmet traveller, vogue living, local echo, local television, trade shows, websites based on gourmet food and travel etc.

competitors: byron bay cookie comapnay, byron tea company, brookfarm, blue kitchen, byron bay chilli sauce, the macadamia farm. etc!

This company is in Melbourne but I've seen their stuff in Byron. I love their packaging, really cool eco packaging. Great graphics.

zentveld coffee do mail orders and advertise themselves with appropriate merchandising eg
coffee cups and umbrellas. maybe a cookie tin to keep them fresh. if it was in our home the residency in the tin would be measured in nano seconds.
