Byron Gourmet food packaging

Hi All,

around the corner from where i live is this great little cafe, called Pippi's( New Brighton). They sell the best yo yo biscuits or melting moments so i decided to pitch them the idea of packaging there product and establishing it as an elite member of the fast growing byron bay gourmet foods industry!

An example of the success of the byron gourmet foods industry is Byron Bay Cookie company, whom started off as a small business in Byron and now have major contracts around Australia and globally. Part of their success is due to there fabulous product of course but also there entire image has given them a unique branding position in a smaller niche that doesn't need to compete with the supermarkets. This is largely to do with their marketing I would say and their packaging which is stylish and "goumet looking" catogorizing them as a superior , homemade food with the feeling of exclusivity and a price too match! Now you even get byron bay cookies when you fly qantus!

here is a sample of their packaging:

yes packaging has a coastal palette and viewing panel. have you seen/ tasted Delisimo another local gourmet brand a much simpler old fashioned packaging with string tie up and a great logo on a swing tag designed by lis walton.
